Dedicated Lighting Systems (Centralized Contoller and Loads, Keypads in rooms)

Crestron Green Lighting
Crestron brings the most comprehensive line of user interfaces to lighting and dimming control, plus the ability for remote monitoring, management and control over standard IP networks.

Cresnet® low voltage wiring and/or RF control can be used throughout a wide range of system design scenarios, including traditional wiring with local intelligence or distributed, high voltage wiring with centralized and/or distributed intelligence systems.

Each unique lighting control system reflects the needs and desires of the inhabitants. There are many challenges in designing and constructing a lighting and automation system to fulfill the requirements of your clients, and Crestron offers the equipment and flexibility of design required for every one-of-a-kind solution.

Crestron processors enable manual and automatic controls; turning on exterior lights based on an astronomical clock, presets, such as providing a single button press to turn all lights on, illuminating safe exits in case of emergency and many other lighting functions.

Crestron products allow the designer to continually expand and change any lighting system. Crestron infiNET™ wireless devices provide a simple retrofit solution to expand existing systems. There is no limit to the number or types of devices; the system can grow as needed to accommodate any last minute changes or new additions.

Every Crestron lighting system is completely modular and scalable, allowing virtually unlimited configuration and expansion flexibility.

Integrating your lighting with AV controls, shade control, security systems and HVAC through a single system has never been easier. Crestron provides the ultimate, fully integrated lighting control solution for any application.

Crestron offers a wide variety of user interfaces to suit the needs and tastes of your client. With distinctive features for every application, Crestron's broad range of interfaces delivers maximum value to your customers.

User interfaces are prominently and strategically located throughout a lighting design, providing the physical link between the user and the controlled devices.

Crestron eliminates all system integration problems by providing the single point control solution coupled with the widest selection of control devices. Crestron products are designed to operate efficiently, replacing several products and drawing less power.

Crestron also offers 4, 6, 8 and 12 button Keypad options in many colors.

Crestron offers design solutions for every situation. Selecting the proper equipment often depends on the kind of installation; new construction, major renovation, or minor retrofits each presents different design challenges. Wired network and wireless communications models are available to provide control and comfort to any room.

Room solution lighting products support applications utilizing conventional wiring topologies with in wall dimmers and switches installed as part of a hybrid system or for decentralized local control. These devices are designed to replace any standard in wall dimmer or switch and will functional stand-alone, providing simple control of lighting in the event of a network loss.

Crestron Green Light® occupancy and photocell sensors deliver powerful and cost-effective solutions for reducing energy costs and enhancing the functionality of lighting and environmental systems. Combined with our shade controller modules, Crestron room solution lighting and environmental products help designers meet ASHRAE standards and contribute to LEED points.

Centralite

If you are building a new home and want to keep the number of switches to a minimum and want to have great lighting control in every room without having 9 switches on the wall, Centralite is a great option for you! With Centralite, you can control single loads or multiple loads(scenes) from the same keypad and only have one "switch" in the room.

Centralite is easy to work with and easy to configure to work with your lifestyle so you can feel confident that we can make your home look great with your new lighting and fixtures. As with all lighting options, when we program lighting systems, we will program each load to go no higher than 90% of the total wattage output and we set each load to ramp up and down. In the end, that equates to an average of 10% reduction in energy costs and up to 50% longer bulb life! This is just one of the many ways that Link Your House is helping the environment and your wallet.

Centralite also offers relay and fan modules so you can almost get rid of all switches in the house and go with keypads to save on wall space and clutter. Centralite also works with most automation systems, including the ones we sell (Home Logic, HAI, Life|Ware). This means that you can access and control your lighting while you are away on vacation or if you are on your way home late and want some lights on or you just left the house and forgot to turn a light off. With the addition of an automation system, we can schedule lights to come on automatically for you. So if it is sundown and you want your landscaping lit, we can have them turn on at sunset and turn off at 10pm, for example. We can also program your lights to make your home look lived in when you are away on vacation and cannot access your home. With Home Logic, we can even notify you if your kids are home and every light in the house is on via email or text message.

Retro Applications and New Constuction

UPB (Universal Power Bus - Powerline Communications)

With this type of lighting controller, there is no need for an extra wire for control or having a proprietary keypad. Since these switches communicate over the high-voltage, a certified electrician can install them in a new construction job abd have them work right away. These switches look like standard decora switches and come in six colors: white, almond, ivory, brown, black and grey to match practically any décor. Extra locations can be provided in new construction jobs to allow for scene controllers to control multiple lights and/or rooms from one location.

With the addition of other conrtol options, outside lighting, waterfalls, fountains, and almost anything that runs with standard power can be controlled from any location in the house. In addition, with a home automation system, we can have other things such as music and other forms of entertainment can be triggered from a single switch. By adding a security system, such as an HAI unit, we can have lights turn on when you disarm the security system. On the same note, when you arm the system we can turn off all interiors lights and, depending on the time of day, we can turn on the exterior lights when you leave and turn them off at a certain time.

With this technology, you can also have a centralized lighting system that will allow you to have multiple switches located in one location out of the way and only have one switch or scene controller in each room of the house. With this lighting opttion, as with any controlled lighting, we can control them in areas like a media room or home theater so that the light would be controlled as a part of you turning on the TV or starting a movie.

For those who have vacation homes, you can repalce every switch in your home with this controlled lighting option and be able to make sure all the lights and other equipment are off to make sure that your energy consumption is minimal when you are away. Link Your House has had much success with these switches and have had little to no problems with the local control of lighting, so you will have the reliability of standard lightind with the peace of mind that you are saving money.

Dimmable lighting is really popular with green living communities because you can reduce your carbon footprint just by dimming the lights and using less energy, as well as being able to control and make sure lights are off when you are away. When we program the lighrting in any house, we set the maximum to 90% of the power consumption which means that you are saving 10% of your energy which can add up quickly in large homes.
