The eMonitor connects to the circuit breaker panel in the home with sensors that clamp around each circuit. In this way, all electricity uses in a home can be monitored.
Supports monitoring of:
- Up to 100 circuits
- 120v and 240v
- Multiple circuit panels
For situations where even more detail is desired – for example where two or more appliances share a circuit – a Smart Outlet can be added. This unit communicates with eMonitor wirelessly (via ZigBee®) and can be used to remotely control that outlet. The eMonitor can support up to 50 Smart Outlets.
An integrated programmable communicating thermostat (PCT) also connects to the eMonitor via ZigBee® and provides the ability to control temperature settings from the Dashboard to help reduce energy costs.
