It's much easier (and cheaper) to run wires when there is no insulation or sheetrock. Once the sheerock goes up and is finished, you've pretty much doubled your price on wiring. So, if you want that plasma over the fireplace, or just a few zones of audio, have it wired before you close on the house - or you could be paying a pretty penny to do it later.
