Nick McCulloch started in the home automation industry in 1998 working for another local organization designing home systems. Lighting and HVAC automation helps the homeowner control energy consumption and also allows them to check the status from anywhere in the world via the Internet or telephone. The key featured design was the Audio and Video installed in the terrace level, which features a 50-inch Pioneer plasma with surround sound and 7.1 THX rated Home Theater with HDTV and Crestron STS touch panel for control. This room was a big hit to say the least. The homeowners are extremely pleased not only with the design but how simple everything is to operate.

The home at Legends at Château Elan has been the talk of the community for being the "best automated home" in the latest tour of homes open to the public last month. "During the tour, I was pulled aside many times and told that my home was the nicest and how they loved the décor and all the features of the home automation," says the homeowner. "I have to hand it to Nick, he is a perfectionist and he knows his stuff!" Link Your House has been back to the home to perform upgrades and check on the home they call the "Masterpiece". Link Your House has entered this project into the Mark of Excellence Awards for Estate Homes with the Consumer Electronic Association, which will be announcing their award winners in the beginning of 2003.
